The 20th and Final Time Leap occurred on September 9, 2008 from the current past into the distant past.

Introduction

While Mikey was made Takemichi’s trigger for time leaping through their shared desire to save Mikey from his own dark impulse, Takemichi, on his deathbed after the battle between the two Tomans, shook hands with Mikey. Both were sent further into the past together, being the only people to have any memory of the events that transpired in the previous timeline. Considering their extensive knowledge of what could happen in the future, both Takemichi and Mikey made it their goal to prevent deaths, and the existence of Mikey’s dark impulse.

Plot

Reliving their childhoods, Mikey and Takemichi recreated Toman the way it was before, albeit adding in more founding members who could share the power. Because of Toman’s new members, future conflicts (such as the conflicts with Moebius, Valhalla, the Black Dragons, and Tenjiku) were prevented. In addition, because this time leap allowed Mikey and Takemichi to live in a time before the existence of the dark impulse and Shinichiro’s death, Mikey’s dark impulse ceased to exist. At its peak, the newly revised Toman contained all of Tokyo’s strongest powers, split into divisions like usual. Toman would eventually disband, like it did in the previous timeline, but instead of Mikey isolating himself, all former Toman members would remain friends far into the future, taking up legitimate occupations that would allow them to live their lives the way they intended to.
