Atsushi Sendo vs. Shion Madarame is a battle between Second Generation Tokyo Manji Gang First Division Member Atsushi Sendo and Kanto Manji Gang Commanding Officer Shion Madarame.
Introduction[]
Akkun watches Takemichi fight against Kakucho after blocking his punch earlier. Akkun declares that he would not lose either. He hears a scream, where he turns around to see Shion Madarame and Kazushi Yamagishi calling out for Takuya and Makoto to get up. Yamagishi admits he cannot go up against someone like Shion.[1] Akkun becomes angered and starts running toward him to help Yamagishi and the others, along with Chifuyu Matsuno. While running, Chifuyu is stopped by Mocchi grabbing and throwing him back. Akkun is left to fight Shion alone as he mocks the former as fodder. Akkun responds that he'll see if he is really fodder or not.[2]
Battle[]
Shion gets the upper hand initially with the use of his brass knuckles against Akkun. The latter continues to struggle, where he almost dropped to his knees. Akkun thinks about what he would do during a fight in the past, saying he would have given up or draw a knife by now. But since he follows in Takemichi's footsteps, he would not use a weapon or give up.[3]
He then taunts Shion saying to come at him. Shion lashes out by calling Akkun annoying and telling him to die, about to throw a punch. Akkun responds, complaining that he uses weapons against opponents. He adds that he will never become one of the greats if he uses them, and lands a punch on Shion's face. He immediately collapses in defeat with Akkun standing above him.[4]
Result[]
After Akkun defeats Shion, Toman shouts in victory and their morale is increased. Later on, he regroups with Chifuyu where he is helping Akkun stand up along with Hakkai and Mitsuya. But as the four were recouping, Hanma shows up to fight them.
