"Salute someone" is the fifth chapter of the 12th volume and the 102nd chapter overall of the Tokyo卍Revengers manga series, written and illustrated by Ken Wakui.

Hakkai fights Taiju
Throwing off his jacket, Hakkai thanks Mitsuya, Chifuyu, and Takemichi for strengthing his resolve. Telling them that they are already worn out from fighting, Hakkai turns to face Taiju. When Hakkai swears to never put on the Black Dragons uniform again, Taiju becomes enraged, asking if Hakkai thinks he can fool himself into becoming stronger; he tells Hakkai that he is his real family and screams at Hakkai for defying him. Yuzuha begs Taiju not to touch Hakkai, but Hakkai punches Taiju in the face, declaring himself as Toman's Second Division Vice-Captain, as well as his resolve to protect Yuzuha and his friends.

Taiju knocks out Hakkai
As Chifuyu, Mitsuya, and Takemichi watch Hakkai tell Taiju that he will beat him down to protect his family, Chifuyu observes that Hakkai has changed: instead of deciding to "kill" Taiju,[2] Hakkai has decided to "beat him down". Chifuyu tells Takemichi that the future will change. Meanwhile, Taiju asks aloud why God continues to test him by compelling him to kill both of his siblings.[3] With a swift punch, Taiju knocks Hakkai unconscious. Taiju tells Chifuyu, Mitsuya, and Takemichi that they will have to die as well, as there are a hundred Black Dragon members outside blocking them from escape.

Mitsuya tells Yuzuha he respects her
Looking out the window, Chifuyu confirms this. Takemichi tells Chifuyu that they do not intend to run away, as the future will not change until they defeat Taiju and the Black Dragons. Although they are all injured and beat up, Chifuyu, Mitsuya, and Takemichi are all willing to continue fighting. Yuzuha warns them that they may die, and Mitsuya apologizes to her. Recalling what Yuzuha said to him about his expectations causing suffering,[4] he realizes his expectations made Hakkai suffer. Mitsuya tells Yuzuha that he respects her for protecting Hakkai. As she tears up, he tells her it is their turn now.
