Toman exits the church in victory
Although they are already worn out from their previous fights, Takemichi, Chifuyu, Mitsuya, and Hakkai prepare to fight the one-hundred Black Dragons members outside of the church.[2] Just then, Draken enters the church and asks why everyone is so tense, as he informs Mikey that he has defeated all the Black Dragons waiting outside. With Taiju's will to fight gone[3] and the Black Dragons defeated, Toman has effectively ended the Black Dragons. Rushing out of the church, Yuzuha, Chifuyu, and Mitsuya marvel at Draken's strength. Takemichi cries in relief when he notes that everyone has survived, telling Chifuyu that his mission is complete. As he faints from exhaustion, everyone agrees that the role Takemichi played in the night's events was of the utmost importance.

Inupi leaves Taiju
Still at the church, Kokonoi and Inupi tell Taiju that their devotion[4] to him has ended. When Inupi asks Kokonoi what he will do in the future, he replies that he is staying with Inupi. Before they leave, Hakkai and Yuzuha speak to their brother. Hakkai asks a silent Taiju how his first-ever loss felt. He tells Taiju that he is strong and will recover shortly, but he and Yuzuha will never give into Taiju's abuse again. Hakkai acknowledges that though he was wrong in trying to murder Taiju, he will keep on fighting as long as Taiju continues to use violence against his family.

Yuzuha talks to Taiju
Yuzuha tells Taiju that if he does not change after this, then he is an idiot. She tells him that he put too much pressure on himself after their mom died and that she did as well, thinking that she was alone.[5] She then asks what family is; Yuzuha tearfully says that she hates it to the extent that she wants it to die, but she also loves her family.

Takemichi wakes up on Mikey's bike
Takemichi wakes up on Mikey's bike. When he asks where everyone else is, Mikey replies that they all left. They arrive at Hina's apartment complex, where she is waiting outside.
