Later, Chifuyu and Takemichi reflect on the events of the past couple of weeks. As Chifuyu asks Takemichi what he is thinking about, he says that he wonders what will happen from then on out. Since Inupi and Kokonoi are under their command and Kisaki and Hanma have left Toman, taking 350 members with them,[2] the First Division is now the largest in Toman. Chifuyu says that even if the Black Dragons have an ulterior motive, Taiju is alive, and Kisaki is no longer in Toman; this leaves Takemichi without a mission. As his home is twelve years in the future, Takemichi has to go back. Takemichi profusely thanks Chifuyu for his friendship, as he could not have achieved his mission without his help; smiling, Chifuyu tells a crying Takemichi that they will see each other again in twelve years.
