"Brother in arms" is the ninth chapter of the 14th volume and the 125th chapter overall of the Tokyo卍Revengers manga series, written and illustrated by Ken Wakui.
Summary[]
As Takemichi is chased by the gang while carrying Akkun, Yamagishi and Makoto lead them into a school, where they lock out the gang. As they escape through the back, Kazushi asks where Chifuyu is; Takemichi says that he stayed behind,[2] but will catch up soon, as he is strong.

Takemichi goes back for Chifuyu
Makoto apologizes, telling Takemichi that he is at fault for the situation. He reveals that the gang is called Tenjiku, and they are targeting Toman. When he mentioned Toman's name, the gang started attacking them; Akkun acted as a decoy, but they got separated from Takuya. When Akkun regains consciousness, he reveals that there are 300 Tenjiku members in Tokyo; Takemichi realizes Chifuyu will be in trouble. He tells Akkun and the others to go to Toman's hideout, while he goes alone to help Chifuyu.

Takemichi and his friends defeated by Tenjiku
As he runs, hoping for Chifuyu's safety, he is ambushed by Tenjiku. Suddenly, Akkun appears, kicking one of Takemichi's attackers. In surprise, Takemichi realizes that Akkun, Yamagishi, and Makoto followed him. They tell Takemichi they will help him, as he is their captain, in addition to their friend. Though they fight earnestly, they are outnumbered and overpowered.

Kisaki stands over Takemichi
A Tenjiku member acclaims their victory. As he lies on the ground, exhausted, Takemichi wonders about the motive and origin of Tenjiku, as he has never heard of or encountered them before. From the crowd of Tenjiku members, Kisaki steps forward, approaching Takemichi. He speculates that Takemichi has no idea what is going on, and announces the beginning of the Kanto Uprising. He addresses Takemichi as "hero", the same way he did in a previous future.[3]
