Draken entrusts his and Mikey's lives to Takemichi
As Tenjiku and Toman's leaders prepare to face off, Mikey swears to settle the conflict and Izana remarks on Mikey still being able to stand, despite his countless emotional trials. Draken approaches Takemichi, saying that although time-leaping seems far-fetched, Takemichi's determination and drive make it clear that he is truthful; Draken entrusts his and Mikey's future to Takemichi.

Mikey asks why Izana killed Emma
Just then, Mikey releases his signature kick; however, Izana blocks it just before complimenting Mikey on his skills. When Mikey attacks once more, Izana dodges, remarking on his power despite his emotional state. After this happens a third time, Takemichi realizes the true strength of Izana, who remarks that it has been a while since he has felt this motivated. This time, when Mikey charges towards Izana, he is thrown back by Izana's kick. Izana says that despite Mikey's impressive fighting prowess, his moves are easy to read, much to everyone's shock. Mucho explains that Izana's strength is in his perception and senses.
Since the initial plan did not work,[2] Izana tells Mikey he will destroy everything, including killing him. Just as Izana punches Mikey once more, Mikey asks why he killed their sister.[3][4]
