Upon seeing Kakucho and Izana motionless, Mikey announces the end of the Toman-Tenjiku dispute. Because the ambulance and police are coming,[2] he orders everyone to leave, with only him staying behind. However, Mucho tells Mikey to leave as well, while he and the rest of the S-62 generation will stay behind. As Ran closes Izana and Kakucho's eyes, he confesses that he admires them, telling them to rest well. He vows to emulate how they lived their lives.

Turning his attention to Kisaki, who is still on the ground,[3] Mikey tells him he will never be forgiven. Just then, Hanma rides in on his motorcycle, grabbing Kisaki and escaping. He tells Kisaki that he owes him now. As Takemichi powerlessly watches them ride away, Draken tells Takemichi to get on his bike to chase them. However, Takemichi hesitates, concerned for Hina's safety. Mikey tells Takemichi that he will take care of Hina, entrusting him to chase after Kisaki. As he and Takemichi gain ground on Hanma and Kisaki, Draken vows to catch them. Remembering his original goal to save Hina,[4] Takemichi internally promises Naoto that he will finally defeat Kisaki.

Thinking back to the countless deaths and pain caused, Takemichi vows to never let Kisaki get away; if Kisaki time leaps, everything that Takemichi has done thus far will be for naught. On Hanma's bike, Kisaki implores him to drive faster. Suddenly, Hanma loses control of his bike, throwing both him and Kisaki to the ground. When Kisaki looks up, he finds Takemichi standing over him.
