Summary[]
After he is struck by the truck, Kisaki lays in the intersection; when he tried to get up, his mangled body prevents him from doing so. Screaming at his agony and powerlessness, Kisaki says he does not want to die. As his body becomes motionless, Mikey and Hina catch up, with Mikey asking what happened. On a nearby street, an exhausted Hanma remarks that he lost to Draken, but Kisaki should have escaped by now.
With Kisaki's death, the Kanto Incident ends. The remaining five S-62 members are arrested,[2] while the three deaths are Emma Sano,[3] Izana Kurokawa,[4] and Tetta Kisaki. The participants of the Kanto Incident are left to somberly reflect on the events.
The next day, Takemichi visits Kakucho, who survived his gunshot wound,[5] at the hospital. Kakucho remarks that he is always the one who survives; Takemichi reminds him that Izana saved him and would not rest well knowing that Kakucho resented living. With Izana and Kisaki's deaths, Kakucho remarks that Tenjiku's dreams are now lost. However, Takemichi tells Kakucho that the fate of Tenjiku still depends on him; he says that although Kisaki died, eliminating his enemy, the trauma of witnessing Kisaki's death has left him trembling.
