Mikey says Takemichi is his hero
As Takemichi tells Mikey everything about his time-leaping at his behest, Takemichi becomes deeply emotional, apologizing for being unable to prevent Emma[2] and Baji's[3] deaths. Mikey recounts the first time he saw Takemichi; although beaten from his fight with Kiyomasa,[4] Takemichi's back was bigger than anyone else's, as if he was carrying many burdens. This prompted Mikey to talk to him, asking if Takemichi was really a middle-schooler. Mikey tells Takemichi that he is cool, and he sees him as his hero.

Mikey and Takemichi overlook Toman
As the approaching footsteps of Toman sound out, Mikey tells Takemichi to get up and listen to the footsteps of their era. Although he thought he would be creating the new era,[5] Mikey tells Takemichi that it was his endless perseverance and determination that created this era. As various members of Toman look admirably at Takemichi, Mikey smiles, telling him that it is his era.

Mikey announces Toman's disbandment
Mikey announces to everyone that they are now Japan's top gang following the defeat of Tenjiku, creating a great era that will be bestowed upon the following generations. However, he says he wants to end it all while they are at the top. Unexpectedly, Mikey announces the disbandment of Toman.
