"The keepsake" is the sixth chapter of the 22nd volume and the 194th chapter overall of the Tokyo卍Revengers manga series, written and illustrated by Ken Wakui.
Summary[]
When Takemichi asks where Mikey is, Draken and Chifuyu tell him that Mikey is managing a successful overseas restaurant; although he wanted to attend the wedding, his workload prevented him from doing so. Takemichi smiles upon learning this; he does not notice the brief uneasy looks on both Draken and Chifuyu's faces.
As he walks home with Hina, Takemichi admits that he initially thought something bad happened to Mikey, but is relieved to find that he was just busy. Hina remarks that they will be busy soon, as their wedding ceremony is in three months, much to Takemichi's shock. Hina tells Takemichi that she has been waiting twelve years for this; Takemichi has spent his time carrying the burden of everyone's lives, but it is now their turn to be happy together. As she walks away, Hina remarks that their budget is tight and the dress is not yet finished; she requests Takemichi look at the dress tomorrow. Watching her leave, Takemichi tearfully remarks internally that seeing Hina alive is blissful enough, let alone their impending wedding.
The next day, Takemichi visits Mitsuya's design studio, where he sees Hina's wedding dress. Mitsuya tells him that Hina will be a good wife, as she tried to decline his offer of a discount on the dress. As Takemichi marvels at the dress's beauty, Hakkai and Yuzuha arrive, having brought fabric. Yuzuha remarks that they ran into Hakkai's fans on their way there. As Mitsuya measures out fabric for Takemichi's tuxedo, he, Hakkai, and Takemichi reflect on their past, as well as the successes their friends have found. Mitsuya suggests Hakkai and Yuzuha visit Smiley and Angry's ramen restaurant before they leave for overseas, while Yuzuha says she would rather visit Chifuyu's pet store. Hakkai says he visited Draken's bike shop, which made him nostalgic; Mitsuya adds that making Takemichi's tuxedo reminds him of when he made his Toman uniform.[1] They remark that things have not changed much.
Not much has changed in Takemichi's life either, as he still works at the same record store, except he is Hasegawa's manager. He still lives in the same dirty apartment. A few days later, Takemichi watches a news segment on Bonten, a criminal organization. As he remarks that Bonten reminds him of Toman, he recognizes a hanafuda-derived tattoo on one of its members.
