Takemichi reacts to seeing his friends
Takemichi rushes to school, after finding he has time-leaped ten years to the past, where he is now in high school. He is then greeted by his four friends, Yamagishi, Makoto, Takuya, and Akkun, who remark on his unusual earliness. He also encounters Hakkai, whom he is unable to recognize at first. Hakkai remarks that he has been unable to study for his final exams; despite his strong appearance, he is an unfocused student. Takemichi's friends take notice of his strange behavior.

Chifuyu reacts to Takemichi's return
After taking all this in, Takemichi immediately rushes to find Chifuyu, who is in a classroom reading manga. Looking up from his reading, Chifuyu remarks that Takemichi is loud, asking the reason for his commotion. Remembering his interaction with Mikey, tears start falling from Takemichi’s eyes as he informs a shocked Chifuyu of his unexpected return from the future, with a new mission to save Mikey.

Mikey acknowledges Takemichi's arrival
Meanwhile, Kokonoi steps onto the face of a man with his sandal, reminding his opponent that the Kanto Manji Gang is the sole gang in Tokyo. Sitting atop a rival gang member, Sanzu admires the view nearby, commenting on how their boss, Mikey, has defeated countless men on his own. Surrounded by his defeated opponents, Mikey stares at his hand, murmuring, “So you’ve arrived… Takemitchy.”
