"Turbulent period" is the second chapter of the 24th volume and the 208th chapter overall of the Tokyo卍Revengers manga series, written and illustrated by Ken Wakui.
Summary[]
After Takemichi and Chifuyu process the recent events, Chifuyu tells Takemichi that having Mikey as his time traveling trigger will make it more difficult to go back to the future. To find out what Mikey is currently doing, they consult Yamagishi for his knowledge of delinquent gangs. Because it has been two years since Tokyo Manji Gang disbanded, the power structure of Tokyo's delinquent gangs has changed drastically. The dissolution of Tokyo Manji Gang, which was the strongest gang at the time, caused a civil war as rival gangs tried to gain power as the strongest gang. This period of conflict was referred to as Tokyo Civil War Era; during this time, three gangs rose to power: Rokuhara Tandai, Brahman, and Kanto Manji Gang.
Takemichi wonders why Mikey disbanded Tokyo Manji Gang if he was going to start a new gang, then remembers the "dark impulsivity" Mikey has[2], attributing this as the reason. Chifuyu tells Takemichi that he is spacing out, then remarks that he must be thinking of Mikey. He then reminds Takemichi that he has to apologize to someone: Hina. When he finds Hina, Takemichi profusely and tearfully apologizes for abandoning her before their wedding and dying[3]. Hina realizes that Takemichi has come back from the future once again.
Takemichi tells Hina that he has realized that his missions will not end until he saves Mikey. Reassuring him, Hina says that even if Takemichi makes a mistake and causes a bad future, she will still support him.
