Draken declares his retirement
With him, Inupi, and Draken surrounded by Rokuhara Tandai, Takemichi remarks on the vast number of gang members, as well as the size of their leader. After Draken confirms that Inupi is relatively uninjured, he reiterates to South Terano that he will never join Rokuhara Tandai, as he retired from gang life. Hearing this, Terano punches Draken across the face; this impact throws Draken to the ground, to Takemichi and Inupi's alarm.

Terano punches Draken
Terano angrily tells Draken that he will never forgive him if he decides to retire, attributing Toman's strength to Draken's presence. Punching Draken repeatedly, Terano does so while exclaiming musical terms. Takemichi sees the assault as unfair, since Draken has retired from fighting; he wonders if Terano is a monster. With Draken on the ground, Terano tells him that they had the same ideals: to make a new era for delinquents.[2] He attributes this as the reason he traveled to Tokyo to defeat Toman. Continuing, he tells Draken that retiring is unforgiving, explaining that the strongest retain their position until they are defeated. After declaring that it is a dog-eat-dog world, Terano presents Draken with an ultimatum: work under him, or die here.

Terano designates Takemichi as his next target
He then turns to Takemichi, addressing him as Toman's former First Division Captain; standing in front of him, Terano warns Takemichi that he is next. As Takemichi panics, a Rokuhara Tandai member is thrown at their feet. Turning the perpetrator, Brahman's Takeomi Akashi, Terano tells him not to ruin the fun. Akashi has brought a multitude of Brahman members with him, who have already started fighting Rokuhara Tandai. Takemichi panics as the two powerhouses face each other.
