"Shows her color" is the first chapter of the 25th volume and the 216th chapter overall of the Tokyo卍Revengers manga series, written and illustrated by Ken Wakui.

Summary

In Harajuku, the girl announces that she is going shopping, telling Takemichi to carry her belongings. Takemichi is still shocked at Senju's appearance as a girl. She is confused at Takemichi's reaction, reminding him of his prior promise to meet. When Takemichi, still in shock, exclaims that she is a girl, Senju becomes annoyed at his interjections, retorting that he is too loud. Still unsure, Takemichi tries confirming if she is Brahman's leader. However, Senju has already begun walking away to start her shopping trip.

Senju begins the shopping trip

As Takemichi hurries after her, he is excited with the fact that one of the Three Deities seems to be a girl, much to Senju's irritation. Turning back to Takemichi, Senju holds up "Takeomi"'s credit card, noting that he told her to do a more ladylike activity. After Takemichi wonders who "Takeomi" is aloud, Senju explains that she is referring to Takeomi Akashi, Brahman's second-in-command. Smiling at him, Senju says she is happy Takemichi joined Brahman, as many of the members are adults, while he is around her age.

Senju shopping excitedly

Walking past the stores, Takemichi manages to stop his companion from entering a dark and edgy store, as it looks dangerous. In another store, she tries on a crop top, wondering if it is cute while noting its revealing nature. When the shopkeeper compliments the fit, Takemichi agrees. Takemichi becomes flustered when Senju trips backward in her short skirt. She ends up buying several bags worth of clothing and excitedly continues to the next store, with Takemichi carrying her purchases in tow. As he watches Senju excitedly try on shirts, he observes that she is just a carefree young girl, wondering if she is truly Brahman's leader.

Senju reveals her relation to Sanzu

As they continue the shopping trip, Takemichi asks Senju about her relationship with Akashi, noting their significant age difference. She reveals that he is her older brother; Senju's real last name is Akashi. Senju mentions that as a former Toman captain, Takemichi should also know Haruchiyo Sanzu, their middle sibling. When Takemichi reacts in shock, Senju bursts out of a dressing room, exclaiming that she and her siblings are known to be mysterious. Takemichi asks if Sanzu is in Brahman as well, but she says he is not. She says that Sanzu is not interested in her; instead, he joined the Kanto Manji Gang, despite her strength and Akashi's support for her. Shocked, Takemichi remembers his encounter with Sanzu in the present, when he found Mikey. He concludes that the Kanto Manji Gang will become Bonten. They continue the shopping trip as Takemichi processes this information.

Senju eats ice cream

Takemichi arranges for the delivery of Senju's countless purchases and thinks about Senju's family, realizing that Sanzu will be important in his mission. Senju stops by an ice cream vending machine, where Takemichi recommends the choco-mint flavor. Although she is initially doubtful about the flavor combination, Senju is delighted by the taste. As she prepares to leave through a station, Senju smiles, thanking Takemichi for their fun day together. Waving, she reminds him of an upcoming Brahman meeting.

Takemichi envisions Senju's death

When Takemichi jokingly asks her how long she will keep the ice cream stick, Senju says she wants to eat choco-mint ice cream again. Takemichi promises to buy some for her next time and offers to throw away her stick. As Senju tosses the stick into his hand, Takemichi envisions a memory: a tearful Senju lays in his arms; as she dies, she tells Takemichi that he kept his promise. Watching Senju leave, Takemichi wonders about his memory.
