Although he nearly died from gang violence, South explains that he cannot stop his urges. Hearing this, This immediately reminds Takemichi of Mikey's "dark impulsivity".[4][5] Towering above Waka and Benkei, South ridicules the possibility of his defeat by likes of them. He adds that this thought further strengthens his violent urges. Each with a shout, he punches both his opponents repeatedly.

Standing above their beaten, barely conscious bodies, South announces his love of violence. Calling out to Mikey, he implies they share this similarity. Everyone, including Akashi, stare horrified at South's monstrous strength. Behind South, Senju shouts. After apologizing to Waka for interfering,[6] an angered Senju prepares to face off with South.
