"Just be yourself" is the second chapter of the 27th volume and the 235th chapter overall of the Tokyo卍Revengers manga series, written and illustrated by Ken Wakui.

Summary

Mizo Middle Five visits Takemichi

On July 15, 2008, one week after the conclusion of the Battle of Three Deities, Takemichi's friends from the Mizo Middle crew visit him in the hospital alongside Hina, who has been looking after him. As they leave after trying to reassure him, Takemichi thanks them with a strained smile. Noticing Takemichi's subdued demeanor, Hina asks if anything is wrong; Takemichi quickly dismisses her worries. When Hina leaves for the store, Takemichi mumbles to himself incomprehensibly.

Peh is willing to help

Other former Toman members visit Takemichi, including Pah-chin, Peh-yan, Smiley, Angry, and Hakkai. They offer condolences, adding that they regret not knowing about the burden Takemichi carried. Taking ahold of Takemichi's wrist, Peh promises that Takemichi can count on them and use their help if necessary. Although Takemichi thanks them with a smile, he reassures them that he is fine. As the group leaves, Takemichi vows not to get them involved, repeating his goal of protecting everyone alone.

Hina hugs Takemichi

Hina returns from shopping, surprised at Takemichi's friends' short visit. She tells him they visited when he was unconscious, adding that Takemichi is lucky to have great friends. Takemichi replies by telling Hina of his decision to fulfill his mission alone; he feels guilt for his selfish actions that upset them. Including Hina in this, he tells her she can go home, as he will be fine.

Hugging him, Hina says he is lying and tells him to cry. At her behest, Takemichi sobs in her arms.
