Chifuyu asks Mitsuya to take his role

At D&D Motorcycle Shop, Takemichi and Hakkai anxiously speak about informing Chifuyu of his dismissal as Thousand Winters' manager when Chifuyu himself comes in. He asks the two about what they were speaking of, and they break into a sweat as one urges the other to deliver the news. However, Chifuyu admits that he falls short in being the team's advisor and meets up with Mitsuya to recruit him for the position, firmly believing that he would operate as a better advisor for the team.

After hearing Chifuyu's request, Mitsuya accepts to take over and proposes to redesign the gang's appearance as well as its name. Upon hearing this, Chifuyu scowls while Takemichi and Hakkai become thrilled at the proposition. After knowing that Pah-chin, Peh-yan, and the Kawata twins have also decided to join, Mitsuya ascertains Takemichi that he and the team have put their trust in him.

A few days later, Takemichi meets Takeomi to invite Senju in the gang as she had been ignoring his calls due to the doleful outcome of the Battle of Three Deities. Takeomi leads Takemichi to Brahman's former hideout and meets Senju at long last. When they speak, Senju regretfully informs him that she has already retired, as she had realized the repercussions of her defeat after losing to South and disbanding Brahman in the battle.

Takemichi consoles her but to no avail. Thinking to himself, Takeomi reminds Senju that she was not responsible for casting him or their brother Haruchiyo adrift. However, Senju reveals that she is liable for Haruchiyo's fate and Mikey's dark impulses, and that it was her fault all along. With both Takemichi and Takeomi appalled by her confession, Senju recounts her childhood days with Mikey, Baji, and Haruchiyo, who she would frequently trail behind as they played.
