"All things must pass" is the ninth chapter of the 30th volume and the 269th chapter overall of the Tokyo卍Revengers manga series, written and illustrated by Ken Wakui.
Summary[]
The First Generation Black Dragon rode a motorcade with Shinichiro Sano leading the group and Mikey behind him. His lieutenants found amusement in how he brought his little brother for a gang ride.
At the top of a bridge, Shinichiro declared the disbandment of the First Generation, while passing the torch onto the Second Generation and voicing his thanks to his friends for giving him a great adolescence.
At a later date, Shinichiro visited his father's grave and swore to take care of both Mikey and Emma. While walking around, he passed by a toy shop and bought toys for his siblings, giving Mikey a Concorde Supersonic Airplane plastic model and a plush to Emma.
One month later, while at work, Shinichiro received a call from his grandfather, alerting him that Mikey was in critical condition. As he arrived at the hospital, Shinichiro was informed by Baji and Haruchiyo that they took the Concorde from Mikey to play with it, but Mikey took it back as he did not want to lend it to them. When he fled up the stairs, he tripped and slammed his head, which caused him to lose consciousness.
Eventually, the doctor revealed that Mikey had been left in a vegetative state, which meant that he was still alive but had lost his awareness. As he got back home, Shinichiro wondered whether or not there was a cure for Mikey's condition, then angrily destroyed the Concorde in a fit of rage.
Four years later, Shinichiro took Mikey, now a middle schooler and confined on a wheelchair, outside for a walk.
