Mikey explains what happened to Shinichiro
Shinichiro, after passing down his ability to time leap to a young Takemichi, returns to his motorcycle shop one late night to find Baji trying to steal a motorcycle for Mikey's birthday. Without realizing, Kazutora almost immediately attacked Shinichiro and hit him in the back of the head with a pair of bolt cutters. As Shinichiro was sprawled on the floor, dying, he recalled the curse that the old man he once murdered had placed upon him, and as he watched Kazutora being surrounded by it, he finally passed away.

Takemichi restates why Toman was recreated
Back at the freight yard, where Mikey tells everyone there that after a few days Takemichi gained his ability to time leap, Shinichiro was killed. Everyone proceeded to stare in awe as Mikey explains that the curse that Shinichiro carried was the same cause that caused his dark impulses, and that Mikey has been trying to distance himself from everybody because he's aware that he's hurting the people he cares about because he can't control himself.

Takemichi wants to crush the dark impulses
As the dark impulses seem to be taking hold of Mikey once more, Takemichi tells Mikey that the only reason that the Tokyo Manji Gang was restored, was in order to go on a rescue mission to save Mikey. Takemichi then tells Mikey to finally let go and to let himself be controlled by his dark impulses, and that it's okay because he's the only one who can possibly save him due to his ability to see the near future.
Mikey then unleashes the full might of his dark impulses, while Takemichi standing before him, tells him it's finally time to finish all of this.
