He arrives back in time, where Hina thanks him for walking her home. She gives Takemichi a present, which turns out to be a four-leaf clover necklace, one that matches the one he gave Hina.[2] Reminded by Hina's funeral and his encounter with her mother,[3] Takemichi tears up, but the gift helps ease his tension. Hina comments that Takemichi sometimes acts very mature.

Draken asks Kazutora to call off the conflict

Draken meets up with Kazutora, asking him to call off the fight with Valhalla and Toman, saying that he will not be happy regardless of the outcome. He asks why Kazutora hates Mikey, as he provided testimony that helped Kazutora leave reform school early. Kazutora cuts him off, saying that he is a different person after the two years inside reform school. Draken responds to this by telling Kazutora that he is still his friend, and Kazutora says that he hates Draken because of this, vowing to crush Toman on the 31st. Draken protests, telling him that Mikey does not want to fight.

After his meeting with Kazutora, Draken and Mikey discuss the situation, with Mikey wondering what his older brother would do if faced with this impending situation. Draken tells Mikey to talk it over with his CB250T.

Everyone ponders the upcoming conflict: Baji visits Shinichiro's grave, Kazutora looks over the city, Mitsuya rides alone on the subway, and Hanma sits in Valhalla's hideout.
