Mikey does not stop him from doing this; just before he and the rest of Toman leave, Kazutora bows in apology, although he tells Mikey that he does not expect forgiveness for both Shinichiro's and Baji's deaths, and he will carry the weight of their deaths for the rest of his life. Draken discerns that Kazutora intends to commit suicide as a form of penance, and implores him to stay alive. Kazutora replies that he cannot think of anything else to do, and Draken relays a message from Mikey: Kazutora will always be a part of Toman, and has been forgiven by Mikey; Kazutora tears up upon hearing this.
