"Tide turns" is the 10th chapter of the eighth volume and the 70th chapter overall of the Tokyo卍Revengers manga series, written and illustrated by Ken Wakui.
Summary[]
As Takemichi time-leaps back to the future, he has a lot on his mind. Even though it seems not much has changed with the prevention of Kazutora's death, as Valhalla has become affiliated with Toman, he leaves with hope, remembering his new position as First Division Captain.[2]

Takemichi reacts to his new appearance
Takemichi arrives in the future, where he finds himself in the video store, with his manager standing across from him. Just as he remarks that not much has changed, Hasegawa bows in apology to him, telling him that the video he requested is out of stock. Rushing to the bathroom, Takemichi finds himself a wearing designer watch, bag, and clothing, while his hair is slicked back. He is shocked by his new appearance. As he walks out of the store, a scary-looking man approaches him, telling Takemichi he is late. He orders Takemichi to get into a car. Confused and nervous, Takemichi asks the man where they are going; the man says they are going to Takemichi's place, just as he ordered.
As Takemichi tries to process the idea of him ordering around scary-looking people, he decides to call Naoto. However, as he scrolls through his phone, he is unable to find Naoto's number. Just then, the man tells Takemichi they have arrived. As he steps out of the car, Takemichi is shocked to find a group of men bowing in respect. Two of the men, vaguely familiar to Takemichi, admonish him for his tardiness, telling the man, revealed to be Yamagishi, that he should do his job better. In shock, Takemichi realizes that the two other men are Makoto and Takuya. As they hurry to Takemichi's place, Takemichi takes all of this in. He lives on the top floor of a high-class apartment complex, apparently successful. He is shocked at the lavishness of his apartment; there, a group of men thank him for having them over.

Takemichi reacts to his status as a Toman admin
Staring out the window, Chifuyu tells Takemichi to answer his phone more often. Seeing Chifuyu, Takemichi is relieved to find a familiar face, telling him that he has no idea what is going on. Chifuyu responds, confused over Takemichi's lack of awareness. He tells Takemichi that he has a Toman admin meeting, revealing Takemichi's status as Toman's top admin, much to his shock.
