"Same old same old" is the first chapter of the ninth volume and the 71st chapter overall of the Tokyo卍Revengers manga series, written and illustrated by Ken Wakui.

Summary

Takemichi happy to see the captains in Toman

For the Toman admin meeting, Chifuyu brings Takemichi to an upscale building, where the other Toman admins are enjoying a Chinese meal. As the realization that he is a Toman admin sinks in, the meeting seems to begin with the request of yearly payment reports. However, because not every admin has arrived yet, including Mitsuya, the commencement of the meeting is delayed, giving Takemichi time to access his surroundings and the present circumstances. Takemichi is relived and surprised to learn that Mitsuya, Pah-chin, and Peh-yan are still part of Toman as admins, observing that Pah-chin and Peh-yan have not changed much over twelve years, as they still engage in noisy banter. Additionally, he recognizes other members of Toman who are now admins: Yasuhiro Muto and Nahoya Kawata, both captains of Toman twelve years ago.

Pah threatens Hakkai

However, Takemichi does not recognize some admins at the table, including Hakkai Shiba, who refers to the Toman captains as "oldies", Seishu Inui, who disparages their seniority and lack of contribution, and Hajime Kokonoi, who remarks that Inui is too blunt in his words. Chifuyu tells the three that their status as ex-Black Dragon does not give them superiority; Takemichi is left to wonder who the Black Dragons are. Pah-chin asks about Mikey, which piques Takemichi's attention. Hakkai responds by calling Pah-chin a loser and says that the oldies always evoke Mikey's name. This provokes Pah-chin, who kicks over a chair and demands to fight Hakkai.

Toman admins bow to Kisaki

At the table, Hanma comments on the dullness of the situation and informs the group that their meeting is not over routine payments. Instead, this meeting was held to determine who betrayed Toman, which had lead to the search of Toman-run businesses by police. As the former Black dragon members and the Toman captains argue over who snitched, Kisaki enters the room, which compels all the admins to bow as greet him.
