"Strive together" is the first chapter of the 12th volume and the 98th chapter overall of the Tokyo卍Revengers manga series, written and illustrated by Ken Wakui.

Mitsuya regains consciousness
Just as Takemichi and Chifuyu charge at Taiju, Mitsuya gets up and tells them to calm down, as he is alright. However, he still sways from the impact of the pipe.[2] Sitting down, Mitsuya acknowledges the direness of the situation: Taiju, Kokonoi, and Inupi are all strong, while he and Chifuyu are already beat up, leaving Takemichi as the only one able to fight. However, Mitsuya says that if they lose, Yuzuha may even get killed.

Takemichi loses hope
Takemichi tells Mitsuya not to worry, as Mikey and the others will come to help, so all they have to do is stall for time until they arrive. Mitsuya asks if Takemichi called Mikey, which confuses him, as Takemichi thought Mitsuya called Mikey. Mitsuya responds that he came alone to help Hakkai, an issue unrelated to Toman. He says the three of them alone will have to protect Yuzuha. Overwhelmed, Takemichi falls to his knees. He believes that there is no possibility that they can win against the Black Dragons, and they will be killed; when Mitsuya arrived,[3] Takemichi had hope that Toman would come to their aid.

Mitsuya and Hakkai prepare to face Taiju
Chifuyu tells Takemichi to get up, although he is disappointed too. Takemichi says that he cannot win against Taiju, Kokonoi, and Inupi alone, since he is the only one in fighting condition. Mitsuya says he does not want to burden Takemichi; he says if Takemichi and Chifuyu take on Kokonoi and Inupi, he will fight Taiju. Chifuyu tells him that he is too injured, and Mitsuya agrees that he cannot fight alone. Mitsuya tells Hakkai that he is under no obligation to help them since he is a Black Dragon member. However, he asks Hakkai to help him fight to protect Yuzuha. As Hakkai stammers, Mitsuya says he understands how fearful he is of Taiju, but Hakkai has managed to protect Yuzuha up until now. Reassuring him, Mitsuya tells Hakkai he has what it takes to beat Taiju.
Takemichi screams to motivate himself, and he and Chifuyu prepare to fight: Chifuyu will take on Inupi, and Takemichi will fight Kokonoi. Because Kokonoi was willing to sell information about Taiju,[4] he might be willing to stop fighting if Taiju is significantly weakened. They plan to stall for time until Mitsuya and Hakkai beat Taiju. Mitsuya tells Hakkai that it has been a while since they teamed up; he pats Hakkai on the back, telling him that he is stronger than his brother.
