Summary[]
Takemichi finds Ken stabbed and informs Manjiro, who attempts to get to Ken, but Shuji Hanma gets in his way and engages Manjiro in a fight. As Shuji won't let him get to Ken, Manjiro tells Takemichi to take care of Ken. Seeing Ken is still alive, Takemichi puts him on his back and tries to carry him to a hospital. Hinata and Emma see him and inform him that they have called for an ambulance.
While waiting for the ambulance, Takemichi sees Masataka Kiyomizu and his gang approaching. As he gets scared, Ken awakens and thanks him for helping him and tells him to take Hinata and Emma and run. Takemichi realizes that Ken may have noticed that Takemichi wanted to run away, but as he lost everything because he ran away, he decides to not let his second chance get away. He goes to Masataka and states that he isn't running away and is getting his revenge. Takemichi comments that they haven't finished their one-on-one as he didn't lose. Masataka thinks Takemichi is going crazy, but gets annoyed when Ken, Hinata, and Emma bet that Takemichi would win.
Takemichi attempts to punch Masataka, however, he stabs him in the arm, stating that this isn't a one-on-one, but an execution. Takemichi attempts to hit Masataka, but he knocks him back. Takemichi recalls how he wanted to take over Japan and be a top delinquent, however, his dreams were shattered by Masataka. He realizes it was his own fault as he was too weak to challenge anyone again. Takemichi then tackles Masataka and bites him. As Masataka hits him trying to make him let go, Takemichi manages to get on his back and starts choking him, stating that he may not be like Manjiro, but is Takemichi Hanagaki. As he doesn't let go, Masataka eventually loses consciousness and Takemichi wins.
Masataka's gang prepare to attack Takemichi. As he stands, he tells Hinata to take Emma and run. As Hinata and Emma leave, Takemichi asks Ken if he wonders how heaven looks like, but laughing Ken stands up and tells him he is going to hell. Masataka's gang attack, but moments before they reach Takemichi and Ken, Atsushi comes out and punches one of them, making him drop his knife. Makoto, Takuya and Kazushi also come out and stand in front of Ken and Takemichi. Atsushi informs Takemichi that Hinata had contacted him. They start fighting Masataka's group, but are easily getting beaten up. However, inspired by Takemichi when he first faced Masataka, Atsushi and the rest refuse to give up and continue standing up. An ambulance's sirens are then heard and Takemichi grins thinking they have won.
