"End of war" is the 23rd episode of the first season and the 23rd episode overall of the Tokyo卍Revengers anime series, produced by Liden Films.

Synopsis

The conflict between Toman and Valhalla dubbed the Bloody Halloween ends in Toman's victory, but Keisuke is killed and Kazutora is arrested. Takemichi is regretful about the fact that he wasn't able to do much, but they managed to avoid Manjiro killing Kazutora. After going with Ken to visit Kazutora, they head over to Ken's home.

Summary

After meeting with Kazutora, Ken tells Takemichi that Manjiro also have a message for him - he has something important to talk with him and wants him to be at the next gang gathering. Takemichi wonders what he wants to talk about. He recalls he failed to do anything on the Bloody Halloween and Keisuke died and Kazutora was arrested, but Manjiro didn't kill Kazutora. He wonders if that is enough to stop Tetta Kisaki from taking over Toman. While following Ken, Takemichi realizes they are in Shibuya and Ken tells him they are almost to his place, which surprises Takemichi that Ken lives in the middle of the city.

Takemichi mistaken for a customer

However, Takemichi is shocked to see he lives in a brothel. The moment they get out of the elevator, a woman scolds Ken for being home early as that won't make him a proper delinquent. Ken is then asked to change a lightbulb and he tells Takemichi to wait for him in the lobby. While waiting he sees a man also waiting and clipping his nails. As the man decides to go to the toilet, a girl comes out and introduces herself as Remi, thanking Takemichi for requesting her. She takes him with her and asks him to take a shower. As he do, she asks if she can join him and Takemichi starts imagining Ken decided to help him loose his virginity. Coming out of the shower, Takemichi sees Ken, who wonders what Takemichi is doing. Irritated, Remi realizes Takemichi is one of Ken's friends. Ken tells her she must confirm her customers, but she counters saying the lobby isn't for personal use. As she leaves, Ken explains he has no parents and everyone at the brothel raised him together. At Ken's room, Takemichi notices pictures of the gang and Ken reveals these are all the people who are important to him. He reveals he knew it was wrong, but also wanted to kill Kazutora and thanks Takemichi for stopping Manjiro, as he himself couldn't.

Emma telling Manjiro that she loves him

Leaving his place, Takemichi comments that he understand Ken, but as he also saw a picture of Emma, he knows for sure he cares for her and cheers for her to keep pursuing him. In that moment, he sees Emma and how she runs to Manjiro, hugs him and tells him she loves him. Shocked, Takemichi starts to panic what will happen if Ken sees this and that this will be the end of Toman for sure. Hinata shows up and comments that there is indeed some mystery. Naoto explains they were shopping and saw Takemichi. Knowing that Emma likes Ken, Hinata wonders what is going on and decides to solve the mystery.

Ken giving Emma a birthday present

The three of them start following Emma and Manjiro around. Kazushi ends up seeing Takemichi. After Takemichi explains the situation, Kazushi states he heard rumors of Emma and how she had been seen numerous times leaving with Manjiro from his house. As it was always early in the morning, it means she was spending the night there. Hinata then concludes that Emma is two-timing them. She decides to confirm it, commenting that if its true, she would feel bad for Ken and confronts Emma and Manjiro, wondering what is going on. In that moment, Ken appears and shocks Takemichi. As he approaches Emma and Manjiro, Takemichi believes this is the end, but then Ken laughs and comments that Manjiro is hanging out with his little sister on her birthday. Ken then tells Takemichi that Emma and Manjiro are siblings, from different mothers, shocking both Takemichi and Hinata. Emma states she told Hinata about it, but Hinata had completely forgotten and acts distracted with Kazushi. Ken gives a present to Emma, a plush toy she wanted from the arcade. As they leave, Hinata hopes that Emma and Ken can work things out and hopes thinks work for them as well. After walking Hinata home, Takemichi receives a call from Takashi.

The next day, while waiting for Takashi, Peyan shows up, asking him if Takashi called him here, but as he is busy, he will be the one to show him around. He takes him to the home ec room, commenting he hates dealing with her. In that moment, a girl, Yasuda comes out and yells at Peyan, wondering if he is there again to bother their president. The president, Takashi shows up, saying that he asked Peyan to run an errand for him, but Yasuda states he hates all delinquents except him. As he invites them inside, he tells him to wait a bit as it will be done soon. Takemichi is surprised to see that Takashi is the president of a sewing club. He wonders what will be done soon and Peyan tells him its his jacket, and its the first jacket he personally makes outside for the original members. Takashi explains he wanted to do it as thanks for what Takemichi had done for them.

Takemichi officially joining Toman

Next day, at Toman's gathering, Takemichi shows up with his new Toman jacket. Ken formally welcomes him to Toman and starts the meeting. Ken warns him that this is going to be an important meeting for him, so he must be prepared. Manjiro then shows up with Shuji Hanma and Chifuyu Matsuno.
