Kazutora saves Takemichi (anime)

Kazutora saves Takemichi

Takemichi can't believe that Chifuyu is dead and starts crying even more. Tetta yells at him if that's all he's got. As tears appear in Tetta's eyes, he says goodbye to Takemichi, his "hero", but a moment before he pulls the trigger, the lights go off and someone enters and stops Tetta. Takemichi wakes up outside and sees Keisuke, who tells him that he gave him first aid. On a second look, Takemichi sees that its not Keisuke, but Kazutora. Takemichi greets him, but Kazutora starts punching and kicking him. Kazutora reveals that the other day, some guys were beating a girl like this. He went to stop them and they told him they were from Toman. He wonders when did Toman turn into a gang that beats women. Kazutora states he doesn't care about Takemichi, and it was Chifuyu he wanted to save.

Earlier, when Kazutora is released, Chifuyu comes to pick him up. Chifuyu explains that Toman has turned bad and even the cops can't touch them. Chifuyu wants Kazutora to help him turn Toman to what it used to be. Kazutora asks Takemichi what he was doing as Chifuyu was fighting alone. Takemichi realizes that in this timeline he turned rotten and Chifuyu couldn't rely on him. Toman has gotten big just like Manjiro said, but Kazutora wonders if Toman is like Manjiro envisioned. Or the Toman that Keisuke wanted to protect. Takemichi agrees that this isn't the Toman he loved. Kazutora then states they should get their Toman back.

Kazutora tells Takemichi about Tetta and Black Dragon's money

Takemichi gets in the car with Kazutora and explains that his head is still dizzy and wonders how Toman ended up like this. Kazutora explains that Toman changed, because Manjiro changed. A month ago, Takashi went missing. Manjiro send people to look for him, but they didn't found him. Kazutora phone rings and after a short call, he tells Takemichi that while Tetta was holding him last night, Pah-chin and Peh-yan were murdered. This means that Manjiro had started purging old Toman members as he no longer trusts his old friends. Kazutora states that Tetta is just following Manjiro's orders. They need to do something about Tetta's violence and Black Dragon's money, or Manjiro won't return to normal.

Kazutora explains that the remnants of the old biker gang, Black Dragon, joined Toman and became Manjiro's heavy hitters. Takemichi recalls its because of Black Dragon that Toman formed and Kazutora confirms. Kazutora had connections to the Black Dragons back then, but they are no longer how they used to be. They are currently making tons of money which is corrupting Manjiro. Kazutora had found their hidden bank account and plans to stop the flow of money, while Chifuyu would have handled Tetta. Tetta killed Chifuyu because Chifuyu had cornered him. With the help of a detective, they found out that Tetta gave the order to kill Hinata Tachibana. Tetta had an alibi, being in a meeting with the top members of Toman, however Chifuyu had proof that he gave the order. Kazutora takes Takemichi to an alley where he can meet someone. Approaching the person in the shadows, Takemichi sees its Naoto and gets excited, but Naoto arrests Takemichi for instigating murder.

Takemichi ordering Atsushi to kill (anime)

Takemichi ordering Atsushi to kill

Naoto takes Takemichi to the police and shows him a video which Chifuyu secretly recorded. On it, Takemichi sees himself, but barely recognizes himself. Naoto explains that the moment Takemichi returned to the present, the timeline changed immediately. The changes in the past made big changes in the present. Naoto is still a cop, but Takemichi is no longer a worker at a rental shop, but a bigwig in Toman. Hinata is still killed by Atsushi on August 10th. Naoto teamed up with Kazutora and Chifuyu to arrest Tetta. Naoto tells Takemichi to continue watching the video. On the video, Takemichi orders Atsushi to kill someone. He tells him he doesn't know who that person is yet, but the person is nuisance to Toman and Atsushi needs to kill the person or Tetta won't leave Takemichi alone. Someone will call Atsushi to tell him who the person is. Atsushi states he haven't heard of his pregnant wife since yesterday and asks Takemichi to talk to the bosses for him, but Takemichi yells at him to shut up and do what he is told. Naoto shows Takemichi another video that Chifuyu secretly recorded. On it, Takemichi is breaking his office furniture in anger after he learned the target was Hinata. Naoto tells Takemichi that Chifuyu was hiding those videos to protect him. Takemichi realizes that this time he is the one who killed Hinatan and wants to give up as she continues to die and things only get worse. Naoto states that Takemichi saved him. In the first time line there was no Ken, Keisuke, Chifuyu or Kazutora and it was Takemichi who kept their influence alive. Naoto believes Takemichi is the only one who can save Toman and Hinata. Takemichi states that the last time he became 1st Division captain and believe that would be enough to change the future and save Hinata, yet she still died. Naoto guesses that Tetta has some obsession with Takemichi and Hinata, otherwise it would be too much of a coincidence that he keeps killing her. Takemichi then recalls that Tetta called him "his hero". As other police officers come, Naoto explains that Takemichi will be taken to the detention center and it will be hard for them to meet. Naoto extends his hand, telling Takemichi that what happened between him and Tetta in the past is the key of saving Hinata. Takemichi agrees and shakes Naoto's hand and travels back in time.
