Synopsis[]
When Takemichi and Hinata come to visit Hakkai, whom they have just met, they encounter Koko, Inupi, and other members of the Black Dragon who have made the surrounding area their territory. Hakkai protects Takemichi and the others from the Black Dragon, but Hakkai's older brother, Taiju Shiba, the 10th Black Dragon Leader, is in sight. After kicking Takemichi down with a single blow, Taiju orders Hakkai to "beat this guy to death". Taiju continues to beat Takemichi in front of the motionless Hakkai. At that moment, Hinata stands in front of him.
Summary[]
Taiju orders Hakkai to kill Takemichi. Hakkai explains that Takemichi didn't knew this was Black Dragon turf, but Taiju doesn't care. Yuzuha tries to step in, but Taiju slaps her, stating its also her fault for not raising him right. Takemichi barely stands straight, but tells Taiju that not only he shouldn't hit women, its his sister. Taiju states its a family problem and he shouldn't get involved. He then tells Hakkai to watch as he will be taking care of his problem and starts beating up Takemichi. Hinata steps in between Taiju and Takemichi, wanting to stop Taiju, but to protect her, Takemichi still goes in front of her and takes the blows. Hakkai asks Taiju to stop, but Taiju tells him that when he wants something, he should give something in exchange. Hakkai then states he will quit Toman and join Black Dragon. Taiju smiles accepting the deal and leaves Takemichi.
Later, Takemichi wakes up being carried by Hakkai. Takemichi apologizes that Hakkai had to quit Toman, but Hakkai tells him he already had decided it and thanks him for standing up for his sister. Hakkai tells him that there is something he needs to do in Black Dragon and Takemichi recalls his talk with Kazutora that Hakkai killed Black Dragon's leader. At home while, Takemichi realizes that if things continue like that it will lead to the future he knows and wonders what to do to stop Hakkai from killing Taiju. Takemichi then sees his friends in his room, playing cards, who wonder what he is mumbling about. He wonders what are they doing there and they explain they come to check on their captain. Takemichi is surprised they joined Toman, but Chifuyu mentions that Takemichi let them in. His friends guess that there may be a war with Black Dragon as they broke the peace and had beat up one of Toman's captains. Chifuyu explains that Black Dragon are the ruling gang in Kanto region and its tenth generation is most brutal and insane in history, and its all because of Taiju. Toman was created because of Black Dragon. Kazutora lived on their turf and got into trouble with them, and Kazutora's friends formed a gang to save him, which was Tokyo Manji Gang. They fought Black Dragon and since Toman crushed them, they became immediately famous. Toman had crushed the 9th generation of Black Dragon, but its current 10th generation has totally different members. Instead of disappearing after being crushed by Toman, Taiju managed to revive Black Dragon and turn them into something totally different. He changed their uniform and trained them like a military force. To change the uniforms, they needed money. Taiju had ties with the rich and sells them his muscles for money. Takemichi states that there is no need for a fight between Toman and Black Dragon, as this is between him and Black Dragon and he intends to solve it himself.
Chifuyu wants to speak with Takemichi alone and takes him with his bike elsewhere. Takemichi guesses that he wants to tell him he isn't alone, but Chifuyu states he just want them to enjoy the whole thing. He tells him that Keisuke didn't ask him to take care of Toman to stress him and will be angry with him right now. Takemichi realizes he isn't alone and decides to tell Chifuyu that he came from the future. He reveals everything, how he decided to join Toman to save Hinata, about Manjiro and Tetta, and Chifuyu's fate in the future. Chifuyu states he kinda figured it, although didn't expect he came from the future. There is a lot of strange things about Takemichi and sometimes he feels like completely different person. Before the fight with Valhalla, Takemichi told Keisuke to not die. He couldn't hear it all that well, but is sure he said that, which means Takemichi knew that Keisuke would die, which explains why he was so desperate. Takemichi confirms, but states he couldn't save Keisuke. Chifuyu is impressed as Takemichi fought alone even without anyone asking him. Takemichi can't believe that Chifuyu is believing him, but Chifuyu states its natural since they are partners, which ends up causing Takemichi to cry in joy.
The two go get some food to eat. Chifuyu is frustrated that he gets killed by Tetta in the future and wants to kill him, but right now that won't be possible. Tetta is the captain of the Third Division and has 100 men. A Sixth Division is also made up from ex-Valhalla members, while in comparison they have just taken over the First Division. Chifuyu is excited and states that Takemichi will build the best First Division, and Chifuyu intends to stay by his side until the end.
Toman leaders gather up. Ken explains that Takemichi was beaten by Black Dragon's leader. As Taiju knew who was Takemichi, this is a declaration of war. The leaders are ready to fight, but Takashi explains it won't be as easy as before as this is a new generation of Black Dragon. Nahoya understands that Takemichi doesn't know which is Black Dragon's turf, but Hakkai knows and wonders why he took him there. Even more, he never saw the two of them even talking. Yasuhiro wonders if Hakkai is a spy for Black Dragon. Takemichi tries to speak, but Yasuhiro tells him to shut up. Takemichi recalls his conversation with Chifuyu last night, where Chifuyu guesses that Hakkai will quit Toman on this meeting and to prevent the future Takemichi saw, he must prevent Hakkai from quitting Toman. Hakkai gets on his knees and states he is ready for any punishment as he was always prepared for the consequences of being Taiju's brother. Hakkai then asks Manjiro for permission to leave Tokyo Manji Gang. Manjiro asks if someone is against it. Initially no one says anything, but Takemichi then states he is objecting. Takemichi recalls Chifuyu's Plan A, if Manjiro doesn't agree, then its all settled. Takemichi takes out a Dorayaki and asks Manjiro to eat it while they think over it, which is Manjiro's weakness according to Chifuyu. However, Manjiro just throws the Dorayaki aside and scolds Takemichi for joking around. Takemichi recalls Plan B, which is notes he should read, but seeing them, he realizes that Chifuyu was an idiot and he won't be able to stop Hakkai. As this involves the Second Division, Manjiro decides to let Takashi decide it. Hakkai tells Takashi that he made up his mind. Takashi tells him to not look so sad and that he understands, but is not allowing it.
