"Come back to life" is the fourth episode of the third season and the 41st episode overall of the Tokyo卍Revengers anime series, produced by Liden Films.

Synopsis[]

Takemichi is depressed upon learning of Naoto's death in the present day. However, Hinata's words and the clue that connects Mikey and Izana make him decide to fight once more. The members of the First Division are elated, but Yasuhiro Muto (Mucho), the leader of the Public Morality Council, appears and Takemichi is abducted. When he wakes up, he finds that Inupi and Koko, who have become members of the First Division, are also with him. Mucho begins to explain the situation to Takemichi, who is unable to read the situation.

Summary[]

Yasuhiro explains that the Fifth Division is special and they are the only ones allowed to do infighting. Yasuhiro was the one who called Manjiro and Ken when Masataka Kiyomizu was preparing to kill Takemichi. If there is a traitor, Yasuhiro reports him to Manjiro, and he can report it after he punishes the traitor. Since Yasuhiro is the strongest among the captains, Manjiro gave him this special position. Takemichi then starts to wonder if he is being suspected in doing something bad. Emma recalls the day Izana was taken to a foster home. He acted like it will be a fun place an promised her that he will one day come to get her.

Yasuhiro reveals he is founding member of Tenjiku

Takemichi asks Yasuhiro of what he suspects him. Seishu guesses its because Seishu was close with Izana, when he was the leader of the Black Dragon's Eighth Generation. Seishu believes that Yasuhiro thinks that Takemichi rat them out and is Tenjiku's spy. Hajime and Seishu explain that this isn't true and they haven't done anything to betray Toman. Yasuhiro however states that this situation has nothing to do with his special role in Toman. Hajime then realizes that the S-62 Generation is on the move. Seishu explains that Yasuhiro is one of the six guys from the S-62 Generation who met in reform school and is friend of Izana. Yasuhiro states that after Izana came back, he decided to side wit him again, and that he is one of the founding members of Tenjiku. Takemichi then realizes that he was the only Toman captain that wasn't attacked by Tenjiku. Takemichi asks Yasuhiro if he is betraying Toman and Manjiro. Yasuhiro explains that if he met Manjiro earlier, things would have been different, however with Izana back as leader, Toman are his enemies.

Takemichi refusing to give Hajime (anime)

Takemichi refusing to give Hajime

Yasuhiro had capture the three of them for a reason. He guesses that Seishu and Hajime joined Takemichi's division so that they won't be used. Its the same reason why they also followed Taiju Shiba. Seishu used Taiju to rebuild Black Dragon and in return Taiju recruited Hajime, since he is genius at making money, and Izana wants that power now. Takemichi realizes that it was Hajime who brought money to Black Dragon and that Hajime is the one that controls Toman's finances in the future. However Hajime only listens to Seishu, who is now working under Takemichi, which is why Yasuhiro plans on killing Takemichi and Seishu. Hajime wont have anyone left to follow and will have to join Tenjiku. Yasuhiro then asks Hajime if he will die with them or join Tenjiku. Yasuhiro tells Takemichi that Izana is after Hajime's money, Tetta's brains and Manjiro's charisma, and wants to use them to build the most powerful crime syndicate ever. Yasuhiro tells Hajime that if he joins them, they will let Takemichi and Seishu live. Takemichi feels that he finally found a chance for victory. He tells Yasuhiro that Hajime is part of the First Division and he won't let them have one of his men. Yasuhiro wonders what Takemichi intends to do as he can't win, but Takemichi states its not about winning or losing. Hearing that, Seishu recalls Shinichiro Sano saying the same thing. Still tied up, Takemichi stands and attacks Yasuhiro, but gets beat up.

Later, Takemichi wakes up among trash, alongside Seishu. Takemichi recalls that Seishu also joined him to fight Yasuhiro, but since both were tied up, Yasuhiro easily beat them up. As he would have killed them, Hajime had no choice but to accept joining Tenjiku. While carrying Seishu, Seishu apologizes that he couldn't protect Hajime, however Takemichi tells him its fine as they won't hurt Hajime since they need him. Takemichi explains that he thought Seishu and Hajime are scumbags, but they backed him up and Hajime even sacrificed himself to save them, so they are actually good guys and his friends. Takemichi intends to bring back Hajime, but doesn't know how at the moment. Seishu laughs and tells Takemichi to let him go and follow him.

Seishu leads Takemichi to his and Hajime's hideout. After taking care of their wounds, Seishu explains that he wants to revive Black Dragon with a specific goal in mind. Seishu feels that he is worthless, yet Hajime keeps on supporting him. Seishu is also ready to die for Hajime's sake. Seishu then asks Takemichi to become the 11th leader of Black Dragon and save him and Hajime. After a bit, Seishu apologizes for what he said. He explains that they are in a bike shop that used to belong to Shinichiro. He explains that Shinichiro always used to fix bikes all the time and all the seniors who visited, all acted at their best behavior around him. For Seishu, Shinichiro was a hero. Seishu wants to recreate the first generation Black Dragon that Shinichiro built. At the bike shop, he heard a lot of stories and how the seniors had fun with Shinichiro, but Shinichiro always answered wondering if they really did that. He find it nice when friends laugh at dumb stuff they did together, which is why he admired and joined Black Dragon. However it all changed when Izana became the leader. Izana wanted Seishu by his side, since he finds him useful and also told him to support the next leader too. With Izana as leader, Black Dragon became vicious gang, involved with extortion, theft, and drugs. Eventually there was nothing left of the original Black Dragon. Before Seishu knew it, he was also influenced by the gang and ended up in juvie. When he got out, Black Dragon had been crushed. Seishu feared that it was the end of Black Dragon and turned to Taiju, and Takemichi knows the rest.

Takemichi reveals that there is someone he wants to save. He has done everything he can, but haven't succeeded at all. But because of that, he understands how Seishu feels. Takemichi then agrees to be Tokyo Manji Gang's 1st Division Captain and the 11th leader of Black Dragon. Takemichi states that he will save Hajime and destroy Tetta and Izana. Seishu shakes Takemichi's hand, stating that his puts his life in Takemichi's hands.
