Synopsis[]
Mucho was a founding member of Tenjiku and the S-62 Generation. In other words, when Takemichi learns that the "traitor" is Mucho and wants Koko's ability to make money, he becomes convinced that not giving Koko to Tenjiku will lead to victory. Seeing Takemichi working hard for Koko even in a disadvantageous situation, Inupi begs Takemichi to build the 11th Black Dragon and to become the leader, and Takemichi accepts. After reporting Mucho's betrayal to Mikey, a rally was held.
Summary[]
Emma recalls in a flashback on how she saw her mother for the final time. Her mother left her at her grandfather's house as she had business elsewhere. She told Emma that she would come back once her business was done, but Emma revealed that she had always known about what was to come, sensing that her mother was leaving her for good.
In the Sano Dojo, Emma's grandfather introduced her to his two other grandchildren, Shinichiro and Manjiro, and announced that from that day onward, they were to treat each other as siblings. Manjiro oddly remarked Emma's foreign name before being reprimanded by his grandfather, telling him that they must get along. Shinichiro promised to take Emma out one day, and the three siblings teased one another.
Later, Emma spectated a session at the dojo. Shinichiro complimented Keisuke, one of his grandfather's mentees, and fled the scene when his grandfather called. It turned out that Shinichiro never attended practice at the dojo, which prompted him to warn Keisuke to avoid copying him.
Manjiro, who had been practicing as the scene transpired, caught their attention. Emma looked at him in awe, while Keisuke wondered why he was excellent at the art despite hardly ever practicing. Manjiro's grandfather explained that it was because he was his grandson. With this, Keisuke asked Manjiro to spar with him, which Manjiro turned down to avoid sweating. As they argued, they noticed Emma watching them from afar and decided to speak with her.
Keisuke was surprised that Manjiro and Emma were half-siblings with different mothers. He pointed out her foreign name and gave one for himself. While he called himself "Ed", short for "Edward", Manjiro called himself "Mikey", short for "Michael". Suddenly, Emma revealed that she knew that her mother always hated her, hence why she was abandoned. She began to cry as she remembered her mother's false promise about coming back to pick her up.
That night, Shinichiro and his grandfather spoke about Emma's wellbeing, which Manjiro overheard. The next morning, Manjiro found Emma practicing at the dojo and remarked her poor skills. He offered to spar with her, but she refused. Suddenly, he told her that he will go by the name "Mikey" from that moment onward to prevent others from thinking differently of her foreign name. While Emma was moved to tears, she called Mikey an idiot for thinking that her name was the reason for her sadness. Mikey was satisfied upon seeing her smile.
At present, Emma meets up with Draken and apologizes for making him wait. As her flashback ends, she concludes that she has never once felt lonely since then.
Mikey and the First Division are gathered at Musashi Shrine. Inupi thinks back to the night when he informed Mikey that Black Dragon will now be assimilated under Toman after Taiju's retirement. When Inupi proposed to elect Takemichi as the 11th Generation leader, explaining that he saw a trace of Shinichiro, the First Generation's leader, in him, Mikey refused for envious reasons. Inupi assured him that Takemichi will retain his position in Toman, but Mikey stayed defiant. In the end, he was amenable to the proposal as long as Takemichi was willing to assume the role.
Back at the present time, Mikey is told that Mucho had double-crossed Toman. Takemichi promises that the First Division will rescue Koko from Tenjiku. Mikey asks Inupi for any hints on when Tenjiku plans to strike, and he suggests that they will strike tomorrow, February 22, in commemoration of Black Dragon's establishment 11 years ago. With this, Mikey asks them to gather all Toman members for a pep rally in preparation for the upcoming battle.
Meanwhile, Kakucho meets Izana and expresses his disapproval of Izana's plans to commit homicide. Izana explains that it is the only way to crush Toman and that he does not see a problem with it.
That night, Takemichi and Chifuyu arrive at Musashi Shrine with the rest of Toman. Takemichi reminds Chifuyu that their ultimate goal is to crush Tenjiku by retrieving Koko and defeating Izana and Kisaki. However, Chifuyu wonders if they are able to win given Toman's current condition. Draken announces the start of the emergency meeting and warns everyone that Tenjiku is a gang that plays dishonestly, therefore they must be prepared to take them on headstrong. Suddenly, Hakkai intervenes the meeting and suggests that they play dirty like them. He reveals that Mitsuya and Smiley were ambushed by Tenjiku on their way to the meeting, which led them to hospital confinement. With the Fifth Division's betrayal and the Second, Third, and Fourth Division Captains' absences, Hakkai believes that Toman is doomed to lose.
Hearing Hakkai's explanation sends a ruckus among the gang members. However, Peh-yan guarantees that they do not need to play dishonestly against Tenjiku. He reasons that using weapons in a fistfight will get them nowhere as he recalls Pah-chin's imprisonment and his previous fight with Draken over a misunderstanding. For this reason, he wants to fight Tenjiku in a way that Mikey approves of. Mikey orders Hakkai to keep Mitsuya and Smiley company to prevent them from coming to the fight despite their injuries. He also orders the First Division to carry out their mission as usual. Afterward, Mikey assures the gang that he is all they need to win. The gang cheers.
The next morning, Takemichi and Inupi visit the Sano family grave. Inupi introduces Takemichi to Shinichiro as the leader of the new 11th Generation Black Dragon. After Takemichi pays his respects, Izana appears. Inupi is enraged upon seeing him. Grabbing him by the collar, he asks Izana what he plans to do with Koko. Izana tells him that Koko joined Tenjiku on his own accord and explains that he showed up to Shinichiro's grave to merely pay respects. Inupi lets go of Izana upon Mikey and Emma's arrival, and Mikey instructs Takemichi to get Emma away from the scene.
At another part of town, Hanma meets Kisaki on a motorbike, telling him that it is unusual for Kisaki to be directly involved in his own plans. However, he tells Hanma that it is because he cannot rely on anyone else to execute it.
Back at the cemetery, Emma tells Takmeichi that she does not remember much about Izana since she was only little when they last met. Izana tells Mikey that Toman must come that night at 8 PM at Yokohama Bay for the battle. Emma finds it unusual that they fight each other despite being brothers. Wondering why boys always fight, she observes that Mikey had always put up a strong facade in the event of adversity, such as when Shinichiro and Baji died. Even then, Emma still thinks of Mikey as a weak little boy like herself and Takemichi, which leads Emma to promise that she will always be there for him, like how he had always been there for her.
After realizing that Emma might be Mikey's support system, Takemichi oddly remembers how Mikey became evil in the future even though he had Emma. Suddenly, Kisaki appears aboard Hanma's motorbike and hits Emma's head with a bat. While Mikey and Inupi come to see the commotion, Izana escapes. Mikey hoists Emma on his back to take her to a nearby hospital, but Emma regains consciousness on the way. Mikey recalls the last time he had given Emma a piggyback ride in an attempt to comfort her, but Emma asks Mikey to tell Draken that she loves him if something were to ever happen to her. She then asks Takemichi to take care of Mikey before losing consciousness again.
In a panic, Mikey tells Emma that Draken had always loved her just the same and promises to call him once they arrive at the hospital. However, he notices that Emma has gone cold. While Mikey narrates a dream he had about her and Draken having a child and him coming over to their house with Mitsuya, Takemichi, and Pah-chin, Takemichi confirms that Emma has passed away.
