With Mikey and Draken stunned by the sudden death of Emma, the Tokyo Manji Gang was left without a leader to challenge Tenjiku to a decisive battle. The members had been shying away from the battle with no chance of winning, but Takemichi, who had made up his mind to settle the score with Kisaki, rallied the members' hearts and temporarily replaced Mikey as the head of Toman. Meanwhile, in Tenjiku, Izana had the top delinquents in all of Tokyo fully beaten, and the four Tenjiku Heavenly Kings and Mucho, a former captain of Toman, all gathered at the bay in Yokohama waiting for Toman.
In the manga, Shion said that he and Rindo took care of Mitsuya and Smiley.[3] Instead, Shion says he took care of both because the Haitanis and Mocchi were too lenient.
Shion and Mocchi arguing before Toman arrives is a scene exclusive to the anime.
For the vanguard fight, Mocchi wanted to go up first, but Shion instead interrupts him and goes up against Peh. In the manga, Shion goes up because Izana said he was up first.[4]
