"Take a dare" is the extra manga chapter of the Blu-ray & DVD: Volume 4 and the sixth extra manga chapter overall of the Tokyo卍Revengers blu-ray & DVD releases.

Synopsis[]

Peh-yan remembers his memories with Pah-chin and narrates their childhood endeavors, from fighting against Yumi Mori to meeting Manjiro Sano, and promising to never lose a fight against them.

Summary[]

Cooped up in Peh-yan's bedroom, Peh-yan asks a half-asleep Pah-chin until when he is going to stay at his house, and points out that Hatori, the Hayashida family's butler, has been waiting outside their residence to pick Pah-chin up. Pah-chin says that he will live with the Hayashi family instead, since he had previously broken off all connections he had with his father and has no plans in coming back home.

Peh-yan narrates that he and Pah-chin grew up like brothers, and that their brotherhood began in kindergarten. He recalls having a fight with a girl named Yumi Mori, who was the same age as they were and was notoriously known as a fighter. Peh-yan had lost a ton against her with no wins and 20 losses consecutively. Now facing her again, Yumi Mori proposed that the loser this time around had to wear their pants on their head. Pah-chin arrived at the scene and called her a cheater, and together with Peh-yan, he attacked Yumi Mori in hopes of winning. In the end, they lost the fight and were forced to wear their undergarments on their heads.

Since then, Pah-chin and Peh-yan would frequently challenge Yumi Mori but would always lose against her, until the time came when she had to transfer schools after moving to a new home. Pah-chin and Peh-yan found this unfair and called her a cheater for running away and avoiding their fight, but she said that they will continue it one day. She cried before leaving, saying that she will miss her friends, and Peh-yan noted that it was the first time he had seen her cry. Afterward, Pah-chin told him that they will never lose against her ever again.

From that day onward, the two would pick fights left and right and would neglect their studies. Come middle school, they were known as a fearsome duo in Yoyogi.

One day with Hatori in the Hayashida family's car, Peh-yan tells Hatori about Pah-chin's strength. He also tells him that Pah-chin has not been feeling well lately, and asks if he knows why. Hatori says that he heard a rumor that Pah-chin had lost against a famous delinquent in Shibuya named Manjiro Sano, who would always win every fight he was involved in. Peh-yan is surprised to hear this.

Facing Manjiro, who is better known as the nickname "The Invincible Mikey," Pah-chin asks for another match with him. Draken comments that he is stupid to pick a fight against Mikey after already losing once. Pah-chin is determined to not lose, but Mikey gets annoyed and takes him out swiftly. He teases him before leaving and says that he is brave. Meanwhile, Pah-chin lies on the ground defeatedly and cries for losing again, when a girl crouches to his side and asks if he is alright. Pah-chin does not recognize her at first, but she later reveals herself to be Yumi Mori. She tells Pah-chin that he has not changed at all.

She and Pah-chin later meet Peh-yan and the three reunite. However, Peh-yan is more interested in Pah-chin's brawl with Mikey and decides to team up with him. After losing to a few more fights, they eventually become Mikey's friends.
