Takuya Yamamoto (山本 (やまもと) 拓也 (タクヤ) ,, Yamamoto Takuya?) is one of Takemichi Hanagaki's middle school friends. He is a former member of the First Division of the Tokyo Manji Gang and Mizo Middle Five. In an alternate future timeline, Takuya along with his friends were managers at Toman.

Appearance[]

Takuya is a teenager of average height with shoulder length hair. He has noticeably long lower eyelashes and prominent eyelids. He wears the Mizo Middle School's uniform. Later, upon joining Toman, Takuya dons the classic Toman uniform. In his high school years, he cuts his hair short.

In an alternate future, Takuya is different, in the timeline in which he was one of Toman's managers, he has tattoos on his chest and arms and also has expensive accessories such as a watch and also wears a choker around his neck.

Personality[]

Takuya is one of the more timid members of Takemichi's friend group. He expresses uncertainty in going to fight the students from other schools. However, if his friends are in danger, he's willing to risk himself to help them.

Fighting Prowess[]

Takuya is a pitiful fighter, but he has above average resistance, when Hina called him and the others to go save Takemichi and the Draken, he fought against Kiyomasa's group and even though he was beaten he was still standing. In the battle against Tenjiku, Takuya managed to defeat some members of Tenjiku.

Etymology[]

  • The name Takuya means "expand, open, support" (拓) (taku) and "to be, also" (也) (ya).
  • Takuya's surname Yamamoto means "mountain, hill" (山) (yama) and "base, root, origin" (本) (moto).

  • According to the official character book:
    • His image color is marine blue.
    • He likes supplements.
    • He dislikes rice.
    • His special skill is that he knows everything about Takemichi (it's because they are childhood friends).
    • The person he respects or admires is Hinata Tachibana (because she loves Takemichi).
    • His dream is to become a muscular man.
