Black Dragon

Keizo Arashi

Although their relationship began as enemies, Benkei is now one of Wakasa’s closest friends. Wakasa’s gang Kodo Rengo used to feud with Benkei’s gang Ragnarok as the western counterpart of Kodo Rengo’s rule in Japan’s Kanto region. However, they were soon united by Shinichiro Sano who became their reason of ending their dispute and instead, building a friendship. As a result, they both joined Black Dragon where they earned merit and respect from all of Tokyo’s delinquents.  Their service in Black Dragon also made Benkei as Wakasa’s half of the “Living Legends” duo, a title they were collectively given as the First Generation’s former notable fighters. All in all, Wakasa finds good faith and camaraderie in his relationship with him.

Shinichiro Sano

Wakasa looked up to Shinichiro as the founder and leader of the First Generation Black Dragon. Prior to his membership in Shinichiro's gang, Wakasa would live a misguided life of leadership as the president of Kodo Rengo, but was eventually disciplined by Shinichiro when he dissolved Wakasa's gang's dispute against Benkei’s Ragnarok team. As an acclaimed member of Black Dragon's First Generation, Wakasa was presumably one of his trusted friends before his death.

Additionally, in the original timeline, Wakasa was the person who led Shinichiro to learning about time leaping. While at a club with Shinichiro, the two overheard talk of a supposed time leaper, whom Shinichiro searched for and questioned. During this time, Wakasa followed along, seeming to think that Shinichiro was going crazy for believing in such a thing as time travel.

Takeomi Akashi

Takeomi is another one of Wakasa's closest friends. They ruled Black Dragon's First Generation together and continued their reign in Brahman. When Takeomi was at the lowest point of his life after the First Generation's disbandment, Wakasa accepted him as his true friend nonetheless with open arms.

Brahman

Senju Kawaragi

Wakasa has great respect for Senju's fighting abilities. Before forming Brahman, Senju would often visit his gym where she would take on numerous opponents in the fighting ring. Since then, she had earned Wakasa's trust and guidance in becoming Brahman's president. Wakasa has also been shown to deeply care for her, as he had asked Takemichi Hanagaki to watch over her when the Battle of Three Deities broke out. He told her to not engage in the fight, to which she primarily obeyed but soon defied as she ran to come rescue him from South Terano who defeated him and Benkei.
