Machi wo kirisaku you na haikion ga
Ashimoto de unatteiru mou supiido de susumu
Kieta teiru ranpu no arika sagashite massugu ni
Gareki no shita ni umoreta yowamushi no koe wa
Ikura mimi sumashitemo kikoe ya shinai sa
Oikakete kuru koukai ga shikai wo fusagu mae ni
Oitsuita mirai no hashikko de nando mo anata wo sukuidasu yo
HERO butte waratteita anata no ryou hoho wo
Nuguu made tomaranai
Aa sou saa no yoru kara anata wo mukae ni kitan da
Nando shikujirou tomo
An exhausted sound that cuts through the city
Growing at my feet, advancing at a tremendous speed
Looking straight for the whereabouts of the disappeared tail lamp
A wimpy voice buried underneath the rubble
I cannot hear it, no matter how much I strain my ears
Before the regret chasing after me blocks my sight
I'll save you over and over again
At the еdge of the future oncе I catch up with it
You used to laugh by making like a hero
I can't stop until wiping both of your cheeks
That's right, from that night
I came to pick you up, no matter how many times I screwed up

Even when fate punches me, it doesn't affect me at all
I'm tearing through the road

The exhaust sound
Which is like tearing the town to pieces
Is groaning at my feet and careening
Driving straight to look for the whereabouts of the
Tail lights that disappeared
With strength to scrap the darkness
The road I'm driving at full speed
Even has no street lamps
But probably I don't need anything
As long as there is one headlight
A wimpy voice buried underneath the rubble
I cannot hear it, no matter how much I strain my ears
Before the regret chasing after me blocks my sight
I'll save you over and over again
At the еdge of the future oncе I catch up with it
Suddenly my memory stepped on the brakes
The direction of my clicking tongue
Is over the mirror I'm looking into
I'm aware of my cowardice although I don't have time
A wimpy voice leaked from underneath the rubble
It was echoing painfully no matter how much I covered my ears
I can never forget the revenge I swore on that day
My trembling heart is still screaming that name loudly
You used to laugh by making like a hero
I can't stop until wiping both of your cheeks
That's right, from that night
I came to pick you up, no matter how many times I screwed up
You used to laugh by making like a hero
I can't get defeated until holding your despairs tightly
Even when fate punches me, it doesn't affect me at all
I'm tearing through the road
By drowning out the wimpy voice
Buried underneath the rubble
Opening Animation[]
The camera is focused going fast on a road, imitating a vehicle where orbs of light travel to the center and form the Tokyo Revengers logo.
A motorcycle is seen from the back going past a car on the freeway in the city at nighttime. The camera changes to a side view where Chifuyu Matsuno is driving his motorcycle with Takemichi Hanagaki as a passenger, continuing to travel on the busy road. The camera switches for a clearer view of the two before focusing on the front wheel. The camera then cuts and descends with the Udagawa Christian Church in the distance. Inside of the church shows Taiju Shiba praying as the camera zooms out. Another scene is shown with Hakkai Shiba and Yuzuha Shiba walking on the street to the left. Manjiro Sano appears and briefly looks at the camera before facing away towards the cityscape. Ken Ryuguji is seen facing down before he turns to the camera. Takashi Mitsuya is seen looking at a road as he stands up. The animation cuts back to Chifuyu and Takemichi from the front, still traveling on the road, before switching to a back view of them going towards the horizon as it fades to black.
Chifuyu is then seen looking at Keisuke Baji's grave during sunset as leaves blow around him. Hakkai stops walking at the street crossing with the camera switching to a close-up shot of him as he faces the camera. Tetta Kisaki and Shuji Hanma stand behind an overpass while the camera zooms out and cuts to Hajime Kokonoi and Seishu Inui.
The camera moves right looking at Taiju from the side and a behind view showing him with a big group of Black Dragon members. An adult Naoto Tachibana is shown at an alleyway and faces the camera. An adult Kazutora Hanemiya then appears facing towards the horizon, with the sun slowly rising as the camera slowly zooms out. Back in the past, Hinata Tachibana opens her eyes and the scene glitches to her future self falling as Takemichi fails to grab her hand. The latter angrily tries to reach for her again, with Takemichi rapidly switching between past and present. His hand reaches for Mikey instead, as a zoom-in happens on Mikey's eye.
An animation of Takemichi's time-leaping ability transitions the scene to a younger version of him. He then runs off from the camera before switching to a side view where he passes his current counterpart. A close-up of Takemichi shows him looking down slightly, and he cries. The background transitions back to night with Takemichi wearing the Tokyo Manji Gang uniform with the camera facing behind him. Several scenes then appear, such as Atsushi Sendo jumping to his death, the Battle of 8/3, the photograph of Toman's founders, Hina about to die from the parking lot crash, Bloody Halloween, and others shown in a fast moving film-like tape.
Chifuyu, along with Hakkai, Mitsuya, Mikey, and Draken walk towards Takemichi looking proud at him. Takemichi then notices the other Toman members and turns to face the camera where he smiles back as everything turns white.
The camera fades from black into a shot of the Yokohama Bay with a glowing headlight at the center. Takemichi Hanagaki, in his Toman uniform and white sash, walks toward the light and faces up determined. Following behind him are Chifuyu Matsuno, Souya Kawata, Hakkai Shiba holding Toman's flag, and Mizo Middle Five.
A sudden fade into white and out happens, where the camera swings close by Izana Kurokawa looking over the illuminated nighttime skyline. The camera angles switches to a back shot with buildings from below. Manjiro Sano and his motorcycle travels through the street, as it zooms out to show the road in a bird's eye view. He leads the rest of Toman's founding members behind him (Ken Ryuguji, Takashi Mitsuya, Keisuke Baji, Kazutora Hanemiya, Haruki Hayashida), also riding their respective motorcycles.
Mikey zooms past the camera through a tunnel where the scene briefly transitions to Izana's side profile. Mikey reappears sitting down on a wall beside his motorcycle, looking over the distant skyline. The camera changes to a closeup of Mikey's face as his hair flies slowly from the wind. The scene quickly cuts to show several Tenjiku members standing or sitting on red freights and looking at the camera, including: Shion Madarame, Shuji Hanma, Kakucho, Kanji Mochizuki, Ran and Rindo Haitani, and Tetta Kisaki on the very top. Kisaki appears much closer where a background light goes towards the left around his face, making him more visible.
Emma Sano appears when the scene's setting returns to day, where she smiles at the camera. Ken Ryuguji sits on a metal fence near his parked motorcycle looking to his right before he turns toward the camera. Then, Yasuhiro Muto looks up at the camera with Haruchiyo Sanzu beside him. Smiley and Angry pose and turn to the camera, while the scene cuts to show a fast rising shot of Ran and Rindo Haitani. The scene cuts again to Seishu Inui and Hajime Kokonoi walking towards each other as it glitches to the two at the bay wearing their respective gang uniforms.
Izana approaches the other Tenjiku while Kakucho, leaning against a frieght, turns his head to watch him. All of the Tenjiku higher-ups then move towards the camera, and leave their shadows. The camera cuts to Musashi Shrine, where Takemichi and Mizo Mid appear and slowly look at the camera. An animation revealing Angry, Inupi, Peh-yan, Chifuyu, and Hakkai occurs and slides to Takemichi yelling.
The fight begins, with Takemichi, Hakkai, and Chifuyu running and charging at Tenjiku members. Chifuyu jumps up and kicks a Tenjiku member in the face, while Inupi takes down two more, and Peh grabs another and throws them. Angry faces off against Rindo, Takashi Mitsuya fights Ran Haitani, and Takemichi runs to punch Kakucho. However, before he can land a hit, Kakucho punches him hard causing Takemichi to spin out. Izana rushes toward Mikey and Draken, with the camera focusing on his intimidating face. The camera then zooms in on Mikey where an animation transitions the scene to several events and locations such as Izana and Emma as children, S.S. MOTOR, Takemichi cradling adult Mikey, and Takemichi and Kakucho's past.
Takemichi fades in, raising his fist in the air in between the slideshow of events. Another fade in-out animation shows his present version becoming his past. Hinata Tachibana looks at Takemichi and hold his hand, before the camera cuts to a view behind the two showing the lightened night sky. Then the scene fades to show the Tokyo Revengers logo.
The opening for the first three episodes used different scenes and animation compared to the current version from the fourth episode of Season 3 onwards, due to these episodes being produced and previewed earlier in a special event.
The camera fades from black into a shot of the Yokohama Bay with a glowing headlight at the center. Takemichi Hanagaki, in his Toman uniform and white sash, walks toward the light and faces up determined. Alongside him are Chifuyu Matsuno, Hakkai Shiba, holding Toman's flag, and Mizo Middle Five.
A sudden fade into white and out happens, where Izana Kurokawa looks over the illuminated nighttime skyline. The camera angles switch twice, one closeup and another back shot with clearer buildings from below. Manjiro Sano appears where he rides his motorcycle through the street, as it zooms out to show him more. The setting cuts to daytime on a freeway, where Takemichi and Chifuyu are riding on Smiley and Angry's motorcycles respectively, driving side-by-side. The camera changes views again, showing the group's side profiles, and one last time behind Smiley and Takemichi with a shaking effect.
Smiley breaks on his motorcycle where the scene briefly transitions to Izana's side profile. Mikey reappears sitting down on a wall beside his motorcycle, looking over the distant skyline. The camera changes to a closeup of Mikey's face as his hair flies slowly from the wind. The scene quickly zooms from the back of Tetta Kisaki's Tenjiku uniform to where two other Tenjiku members are shown. A background light goes towards the left around Kisaki's face, making him more visible.
Emma Sano appears when the scene's setting returns to day, where she smiles at the camera. Ken Ryuguji sits on a metal fence near his parked motorcycle looking to his right before he turns toward the camera. Then, Yasuhiro Muto gets up from his chair and menacingly stares at the camera. Smiley and Angry turn to the camera, as the scene cuts to show a fast rising shot of Ran and Rindo Haitani. The scene cuts again to Seishu Inui and Hajime Kokonoi staring to the left as the former disappears from a glitching effect.
Back at the bay, Izana approaches the other Tenjiku while Kakucho, leaning against a frieght, turns his head to watch him. All of the Tenjiku higher-ups then move towards the camera, and leave their shadow. The camera cuts to Musashi Shrine, where Takemichi and Mizo Mid appear and slowly look at the camera. An animation revealing Angry, Inupi, Peh-yan, Chifuyu, and Hakkai Shiba occurs and slides to Takemichi yelling.
